How to read the report

The groups

Lower to move
Your ask is above the band the part has been selling in. At that price, expect the listing to sit.
Room to raise
Your ask is under the band. There is room to raise.
On target
Your ask is where the part sells. The market agrees with your price.
High end
Your ask is above the middle of the market, but the part still sells at that price, less often. The line says how often.
Sold
The listing appears to have sold since we last saw it, so it is not priced.
Verify
We have not re-seen the listing recently. Check that it is still live; the read still applies.
Not priced
Too few recent sales to state a number, or no current ask captured.

Listings we cannot yet match to a specific part number are left out, and priced in a later report once we can.

The numbers

Typical sale
What the same part has actually sold for over the last six months, per unit, not what it is listed at. One vote per distinct listing title, so a seller relisting the same item counts once. A single-item listing is priced from single-item sales when there are enough of them, because units sold inside a lot clear lower. When sales in the last 30 days are deep enough, the number reads those instead: this market moves.
Band
The middle half of those sales. An ask inside the band is priced where the part sells.
Densest cluster
Where the sales bunch together most tightly, and what share of them falls there.
Depth
How much evidence stands behind a line: deep (10 or more sales), adequate (3 to 9), thin (under 3, so no number), mixed (plenty of sales but no clear price cluster).
Recent sales
When the last 30 days centre well away from the six-month read, the line says which way the market is leaning.
Evidence
Each priced line links to eBay's own sold and active search for the part number we priced it under, so you can check the sales yourself.
Report number and method
Each report is numbered for your store. “Method” names the version of the pricing rules the numbers were read with; when we change a rule in a way that moves numbers, the version changes.

The colours

The shade shows how far your ask sits outside the band, measured from the nearer edge. The number is always printed beside it, so the colour is only an index.

What the report is not

Estimates are reads of past sales, not offers or appraisals. Something wrong on a line? Leave a note on it on your report page, use the Feedback button there, or reply to the report email. Every correction improves the next report.
